Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test to measure the English language proficiency of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. The TOEFL iBT is one of the most popular English proficiency tests accepted at US and Canadian universities and education institutions across many countries.
The TOEFL iBT test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. Each section has a score range of 0-30 and all four sections score added together to a total score of 0-120. Total testing time is approximately 3.5 hours, and the breakdown of each section is as follows:
